4 wins from 4 for the U14s

Great day out

The unbeaten u14 played in a blitz tournament in railway last weekend. They played four games and won all four.
Every single one played superbly and gave 120% commitment on the pitch.

1st match vs three rock rovers.

We won the match 2-0 thanks to some great team play. We also managed to keep a clean sheet thanks to some great goal keeping from Jack.

2nd match vs railway

We won this match 2-1 thanks to a real gutsy performance. Conor had a great shot that was denied by a great save from the keeper. We finally did manage to score with a power shot from Fionn in the bottom corner. Some slick play between Alex and Louis leading to the second goal.

3rd match vs Corinthians

We were victorious 4-1 with the highlight of the game going to Sam for scoring the fourth and final goal after an outstanding match.

4th match vs Monkstown

This was the decider as Monkstown also won all the matches up to this point. Our ym team though managed to beat them 1-0 with a unbelievable goal from Alex. He skilled a few players before pushing it past the keeper in the corner. It was a great team performance with Craig and Kyle doing solid work at left back. Fionn and Richie saving balls off the line and Samuel, Louis, James and Matthew working hard in the midfield.

Player of the tournament was Richie who was like a brick wall at the back.
