Cold Midweek Fixture Ends in Draw

It was a frosty evening as we played a mid-week match with the IHT match this weekend. In our unfamiliar white strip taking on Corinthians with some family rivalry adding some spice to proceedings. Corinthians are even with us on points as and from the start it was evenly matched. However YM soon started dominating the game and Jen started a great move and combined with Sally who laid it off to Coups who took in into the circle, and there is only one word for it, belted it into the bottom corner. 1 nil at half time – however after the break the concentration slipped and two sloppy goals went in. The tempo was upped in the final ten and Emily Bradshaw took a snap shot from an acute angle and it ended up in the far corner, there was some disbelief that it had actually gone in from such an acute angle starting with herself, her team mates, the opposition and all those on the sideline! It ended 2 all, in truth we should have won it.
