The Ladies section of YMCA was formed in 2006 and since then has gone from strength to strength, and now boasts two teams competing in the Leinster Leagues.
As with any new team YMCA Ladies had to start in the lowest division in Leinster and have since then been working their way up! The 1st XI won the Division 13 league in the 2006 /07 season and since then have won their Division each season. This year (2012/13) they will be competing in the 3rd Division in what will be their most challenging season to date.
The 2nd XI have also enjoyed success since their formation in 2007-2008 and have secured promotion for the past three seasons running. They will be competing in Division 10 in the 2012-2013 season.

The Ladies teams are very social and inclusive and their primary aim is to enjoy the sport ...and win wherever possible! Both teams train twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday in Alexandra College in Milltown, with home matches played at the Club's own ground in Claremont Road, Sandymount.
